Notes from the Road #1: Happy Halloween! 
Kent is taking a road trip to visit design/build university programs around the country, connecting his curriculum and teaching work with UMass BCT and the Five-College Architecture Studies Program to similar programs. Rural Studio 3rd year students in the iconic red barn design building are wrapping up models and construction drawings in preparation for the start of a single family new home build.
The entire process impressed me….from the team itself, to knowledge of their field, from integrity of design; to excellence in craftsmanship and careful control of costs…and more. The process itself has left me very appreciative of East Branch Studio and their team.
